Stretch Mark Removal Aftercare
Day 1 - 3

The area will be red and "angry" wear loose clothing to lessen the sensitivity.

Do not apply any products to the area. Do not get the area wet.

Do not take Advil
-
​First 3 days, cold compress the areas at least 3x daily for 10 minutes or as needed to reduce swelling. NO ICE just use a cold compress or ice-cold water.

You can shower after 12 hours. Avoid exposing the area to full water pressure.
NOTE
Discontinue cold compresses after 3 days.
First 14 Days

Apply the provided CeraVe 2x a day or more if needed to keep the area hydrated

Do not submerge the treatment area in water for at least 14 days. This includes baths, pools, hot tubs, etc

Laser Treatments on or near the area.

Avoid heavy exercise for 3 days. Keep a towel handy to pat dry the area while healing in the first 2 weeks when working out. Try to wipe off sweat as soon as possible gently.

Avoid harsh soaps, ointments, and lotions (other than those noted in the aftercare) on the area for the first 7 days. Also, DO NOT use Neosporin or Bacitracin, antibiotic creams.

After 10 days, wear sunscreen daily when exposing the area to sunlight.
NOTE
Be sure to wash your hands thoroughly Its very important to keep the area clean and free from anything that can carry bacteria which can lead to infections.
Be Careful To Avoid

​​Sunbathing or tanning for 6 weeks

DO NOT pick at the newly forming scabs as your procedure heals! DO NOT scrub, rub, or any form of picking at the epithelial crust that forms. Instead, allow it to flake off by itself. This is extremely important!

THE FOLLOWING IS NORMAL

Stretchmarks/scars will be dark during the healing process. Please don't panic. This can last up to 60-90 days until your skin is fully healed to its new fabulous skin tone!

Slight swelling, itching, scabbing, light bruising, dry and tightness after the procedure.

Uneven appearance.

The procedure area has to be completely healed before addressing any concerns. This takes at least 2 months (or 45-60 days) but could take longer depending on your skin.

Failure to follow aftercare instructions may result in infections or poor healed results.

Always apply ointment before bathing or showering.

*DO NOT throw out your aftercare as you will need it again after your touch up*

Always apply SPF to the area when it's exposed directly to the sunlight.

Once healed, use SPF products on the treated area(s), it will prevent color from fading.

Be careful when having peels, microdermabrasion, laser, or using anti aging creams on camouflage as these may contribute to fading.
